I successfully downloaded Parallels for $39.99 (student discount), Windows 10 Education for $0.00 (from my community college's online library), and made a Microsoft Insider account ($0.00) after reading a post stating that the new M1 MacBook Pro could only run Windows 10 on Parallels through a beta program accessed only through the Microsoft Insider Program called "Windows 10 on ARM Insider Preview". Any input / advice / corrections in terminology will be warmly welcomed!

Recently however, I learned to make a boot-able drive onto a LaCie external hard-drive to downgrade from MacOS Catalina to High Sierra after accidentally upgrading last year on my 2013 MacBook Pro that is near extinction. In fact, I have a limited understanding of computer technology in general - my knowledge base consists of scene-kid CSS I learned 15 years ago to add backgrounds to my Xanga / LiveJournal and music to my MySpace, or in navigating "safe mode" to override Parental Controls.
